Jan Mittner

I was born in 1986. I studied at the Secondary Grammar School, Trebic and graduated from the information systems and technologies along with financial management at Prague University of Economics and Business. Here I also completed my education in 2018 with a doctoral degree.

I have been involved in software development since 2000. Initially I was programming custom web applications in our company Vergilio. Since 2010 I have been focusing mainly on various own projects. Among them are or were Jízdomat, Proudly, Rotorama, Adaptee Gastro or Gastrobot. Recently, I have been working intensively on the topics of machine learning and artificial intelligence.

At the university I taught Web application development in Zend Framework and Software Engineering for couple of years. Since 2021 I am running a new course here, focusing on Practical Applications of Machine Learning.

In my spare time I mainly enjoy flying of all kinds - soaring in a glider, RC models or racing FPV quadcopters.
